In conjunction with their annual Day of Action book drive, the United Way of Champaign County is collecting items for their Read. Talk. Play. EVERY DAY kits. These kits help parents and young children love to read and learn together. Rogards is happy to be supporting this campaign to encourage kindergarten readiness and early literacy by donating items needed to make up the kits, and we would like to invite you to help us help the United Way.
Imagine getting to work and finding that you had no paper, no pens, no sticky notes, no printer, no ink. Getting through the work day would definitely be a challenge. Luckily, you don’t have to worry about it because Rogards is here for you, making sure you have everything you need to get your job done. For the second year in a row, we’re also making sure that students in our community have everything they need to get their jobs done! Working with Champaign West Rotary, we donated 120 backpacks full of supplies to students at Kenwood and Garden Hills Elementary Schools.
There are a lot of holidays and observances to commemorate this time of year, some well worth celebrating (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah) and some that you probably won’t even realize you missed (Cookie Cutter Week, Faux Fur Friday, National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day). There is one lesser-known December observance that deserves more of a spotlight: Giving Tuesday.
