Winner!
Here's our winner from a law firm in Urbana.
This is a chair that is
used by Gene D. Weisiger, an attorney in Urbana. He is 87
years old and still comes into the office for a few hours
every workday. The electrical cord was used to hold the
arms on the chair. The frying pan was used to tighten the
electrical cord. The wooden stakes were used to secure the
bottom of the chair to the arm.
These are the other entries submitted that weren't quite
as ugly.
It may be difficult to
tell, but the chair in the center is the one submitted
for the contest from Patricia Jones at the the International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union 146, in Decatur.
These lobby chairs
at Geometrix, Inc. are apparently avoided by their clients.
They even retouched the
photo to "show how the chair would look with an unpleasant
stain."
These chairs are
from the law offices of Hatch & McPheters.
This chair
belongs to Dave Moore, Direcor of Maintenance at the
Champaign-Urbana Mas Transit District.
Here are some more ugly chairs:
Come on, we're sure that there are more ugly chairs out
there, so read the rules and
let us see your ugly chair.
